A man is dead and another is seriously injured after a vehicle collision on Highway 101 in Lake La Rose.
Annapolis District RCMP say emergency services responded to the collision around 3:40 p.m. yesterday learning a pickup truck and a cube truck collided while travelling in opposite directions on Highway 101. A transport truck also became involved after the initial impact.
The driver of the cube truck, a 55-year-old Aylesford man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, a 24-year-old River Bourgeois man, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital via Lifeflight. The transport truck driver was not injured.
A collision reconstructionist has attended the scene and police say the investigation is ongoing with assistance from Southwest RCMP Traffic Services.
