RCMP lay charges in Conquerall Mills assault that involved blunt weapons

Lunenburg County RCMP have laid multiple charges against a 26-year-old man in relation to an assault that took place on Saturday September 10.

RCMP received a call at around 10:30 p.m. indicating an assault was underway at a home on Conquerall Bank Road. While en route they had learned that the occupants, a 74 year-old man and 50 year-old woman- both of Bridgewater had been attacked with blunt weapons and sustained serious injuries.

The RCMP were also told the assailant had also attempted to run the pair over with his vehicle.

They arrived shortly after and were able to locate and arrest the suspect who has since been named as Lucas Corey Greek.

Greek now faces an array of charges including;

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Assault (two counts)
  • Forcible Confinement
  • Failure to Comply with Probation Order

Greek was held in custody and will appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court today.
