Cruise Ship Skips Shelburne Due To Weather

A cruise ship was not able to dock in Shelburne this morning.

The ‘Seven Seas Navigator’ with 500 passengers aboard was supposed to stop, but due to weather the ship couldn’t come into the harbour.

This would have been the second day in a row for a cruise ship visit, as about 700 passengers on the ‘Insignia’ explored the town yesterday.

In a post on Facebook, the town says they’re disappointed but it was out of their control.

Three more cruise ships are expected to come in this fall, with the next one scheduled on October 27th.
