A recent survey found that the scariest movie ever made is The Exorcist.
I have probably viewed or heard about all the key scenes from the movie, but I’ve never seen it in it’s entirety.
I read the book and that was enough for me.
But “jump scares” are my weak spot when I watch scary movies.
If the film has a good plot with plenty of jump scares then it rates very high on my “scary index”
So, for me, the scariest movie I’ve seen so far is “The Conjuring”.
It has around 15 to 18 jump scares.
And a close second (again, because of the jump scares) is Sinister.
