In MHL action, Yarmouth edged South Shore 4-2 last night at the LCLC.
Reilly Mayne had two goals for Yarmouth, Van Sawlor and Andrew Stuckless also scored, and Keegan Warren was the winning goaltender.
Robert Forbes was named first star of the game, stopping 38 shots in the South Shore goal.
Nick Dyson and Nathan Carter scored for the Jacks, who lost their seventh game in nine tries this season.
It was also the head coaching debut for interim bench boss Shawn Woodworth behind the Lumberjacks bench.
