Didn’t Effect Me

I usually say the time change has no effect on me. I’m not totally sure that’s true, but I’m sticking with it.

Although I will say, I want to wake up earlier in the morning. I know I’ll adjust, but my eyes keep popping open about a hour earlier than normal. Actually, it would be pretty much the same time as I woke up last week. The clock just says something different. But this has nothing to do with the time change. I’m just an early riser.

And it seem to me that I get tired more in the evening. Possibly because it gets dark so early. Or maybe because I spent all that time changing clocks around the house. We seem to have far too many clocks, and hunting them all down and trying to remember how to change them all can be tough. It’s physically draining. It could make a person tired, doing all that. I could say that was the reason I fell asleep in front of the television last night. Then again, I usually do that anyway.

The one hour time change is really no different than a trip to Toronto. Same thing, The time shifts by a little. No big deal. It really has no effect on me at all.

And if you find me sitting around with my eyes closed, I’m just giving them a rest. It’s not because I’m tired. And it certainly has nothing to do with the time change.

That has no effect on me.
