Lockeport Seeing Rise in Vandalism

The Town of Lockeport is reporting an increase in vandalism around the community following an incident at the Seacaps Park Lighthouse Stage facility.

The town recently posted security camera footage on its Facebook page which shows what appears to be a group of youths attempting to throw rocks at the camera.

The post indicates that this incident is not isolated and that acts of vandalism have been on the rise in recent months.

The town is appealing for people to be on the lookout for any suspicious behavior around the community as they do not want to see public property that is intended for everyone’s enjoyment get damaged.
