Bridgewater Waives Parking Fees For December

In an effort to boost local shopping, this Christmas season Bridgewater has waived all parking fees for the month of December.

Both metered spaces and parking lots operated by the town won’t be charging parking fees as a way of enticing more shoppers to visit the downtown area.

Most of the paid parking spaces in town are in the downtown core where a majority of the local small businesses operate.

Parking in Bridgewater costs $1 per hour in the metered spaces and in the parking lots, which also offer yearly ($250) and monthly pass ($25) options.

The holiday promotion does not extend to accessible or permit-only parking spaces and the town will continue to enforce parking rules for those spaces as per usual.
