The Bank of Canada has increased its key interest rate to 4.25 per cent.
It marks the seventh rate hike of 2022 and is up 50 basis points.
Officials say there are early signs that price pressures may be losing momentum.
And while inflation has dropped slightly, it’s still well above the bank’s target of two per cent.
