Rainfall and Wind Warnings for Province Thursday

Heavy rain and strong winds are expected to hit the province tomorrow.

Environment Canada has now issued Rainfall and Wind Warnings for much of NS.

Up to 70mm of rain is now expected for the mainland, with heavy winds and gusts up to 100km/h for the entire province.

The National Forecaster is urging people to be aware of possible flash flooding and wind damage.

Most of the rain is expected to taper off by tomorrow evening.
