The robbery took place at the Lydgate Lock, Stock, and Barrel General Store, which was confirmed on the store’s social media page.
The post indicated everyone is safe but the store will remain closed for the rest of the day. They plan to resume their normal hours of operation on Saturday.
An arrest has been made after an armed robbery in Shelburne County.
It happened earlier this morning at Lydgate Corner Store, according to RCMP.
One person was arrested safely.
