Two Lunenburg Co. Government Housing Complexes Receive $1M in Upgrades

Two government-owned housing complexes in Lunenburg County will be receiving just shy of $1 million in upgrades.

The two properties include Ritcey Cove Manor in Riverport and Charing Cross Manor in New Ross.

Tenders for both projects were awarded to Mid-Valley Construction; valued at $489,700 procurement for the New Ross project and $419,817 for the work in Riverport.

The upgrades at both properties are similar with extensive upgrades to both exteriors and electrical systems planned. New windows along with other improvements designed at making the units more efficient will also be added.
