Bird Flu found again in Nova Scotia

Bird flu is back in Nova Scotia.

An area in Yarmouth County is the spot of the latest outbreak, declared over the weekend at a non-commercial property.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency tells CBC that it came from a small flock of mixed poultry in Port Maitland.

All of the birds have been killed.

Meanwhile, the Liberals are calling for the government to fund a testing lab for the province.

Agriculture Shadow Minister Keith Irving says samples have to be sent away to other provinces, resulting in longer wait times for farmers.
