The 2016 Summer Olympics are quickly approaching.
Bridgewater’s Jenna Martin-Evans is getting a leg up on the competition – she has started fundraising to reach the games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
She says no donation goes unwanted.
“Even if they want to give Aeroplan points or something for a flight. I mean, from $10 to $100, it all helps.”
She reached the semis during the London games in 2012.
Martin-Evans started her outdoor running season earlier this month.
She’s hoping to compete in large scale events this summer including the national championships, the Pan-American Games in Toronto and the World Championships in Bejing.
