The Mooseheads beat the Eagles 8-2 in Sydney last night.
That gives the Herd a 3-0 lead in their first round QMJHL playoff series.
Halifax gave up the first goal of the game, but Alex Doucet scored the next three, and the Moose never looked back.
Doucet finished with five points, and linemates Jordan Dumais and Josh Lawrence had four points each.
Halifax can close out the series tonight.
