I know leading up to the new year I was one of the ones joking about how clear things will be in 2020, but no one could have imagined what this year is like. Halfway through this year and the “new normal” is anything but. Another important event has fallen victim to 2020 as the Kidney Walk will not happen as it did in the past. BUT, that said, it IS still happening virtually. Nationally they have crossed the half million dollars raised mark, but for our local walks in Bridgewater, Liverpool and Yarmouth, they are just getting up and running. The actual virtual walk will be held all across Atlantic Canada on September 27th.
