Whether you’re working from home or simply self-isolating you may be one of the thousands of people reporting sore feet and ankles, or knee, hip or lower back pain. The answer could be what you’re wearing or not wearing at home.
We’re spending more time in our bare feet or sock feet because of all the time we’re at home and that’s not good for our bodies according to podiatrists. At the very least wear slippers to cushion the shock from our feet on the hard surface of the floor.
Better still, wear some “indoor” shoes at home – something with structural elements such as a firm backing , an upper (or top enclosure) with some kind of lacing, and a firm yet substantial midsole,
Your feet, ankles, knees, hips and back will thank you for it.
