RCMP confirm a suspect is now in custody after police spent the morning tracking an active shooter travelling through Colchester Co.
On Twitter, police say suspect 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman is now in custody and more information is on the way.

Police say they began tracking the suspect last night, and says there may be several victims.
He was earlier driving what appears to be an RCMP vehicle and may still be wearing an RCMP uniform.
There’s was one difference between his car and other RCMP vehicles.
The suspect’s car had 28B11 behind the rear passenger window.
Nova Scotia RCMP have confirmed the suspect is not a police officer.
To clarify, the suspect in our active shooter investigation, Gabriel Wortman, is NOT employed by the RCMP but he may be wearing an RCMP uniform. He is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do NOT approach and call 911 immediately.

Wortman was later spotted in a silver Chevy Tracker moving through the Milton/East Hants area along HWY 102, and it is undetermined where he was detained.
