Beach Meadows Beach has received more accessibility upgrades.
A concrete pad and gravel were added to the entrance of one of the boardwalks in order to create more level and stable access.
The upgrades are a continuation of work done earlier this year which included adding a wheelchair accessible MOBI mat, a sand barrier and benches to the boardwalk.
The MOBI mat and barriers have been temporarily removed to prevent damage from winter weather, but will return in the Spring.
These upgrades were partially funded by the provincial Community Access-Ability grant
