The smell of gas at Bridgewater Hotel on High Street forced guests to evacuate the building Saturday.
Bridgewater Police, RCMP and fire departments were on scene overnight to investigate the source of the odour.
A hazmat team determined early yesterday morning that the air quality on site was good and didn’t pose a threat to public safety.
They also determined there was no clandestine labratory on the property.
The hotel re-opened around 5 p.m. yesterday.
