It’s that time of year, folks, when we’re supposed to come up with some New Year’s resolutions to improve our lives!
I really struggled with this task because I’ve been three months on and off the Keto diet (90 per cent on)
and am continuing it into the new year, so that doesn’t really count as a resolution, does it?
I’ve been trying to amp up my daily activity rate and I found this one thing to be really useful. I never sit for more than 20 minutes before I get up and walk around the house for a few minutes.
I’m trying to find a 20 minute timer that doesn’t make noise while it is ticking down the minutes, just an alarm at the 20 minute mark. I’m sure I can find an app on my phone that will do that, so that’s not much of a resolution. Also, I’ve been doing this for several months, so I can’t use that for a resolution.
Two years ago I decided that I would make avoiding being overtired my number one daily goal and made the sacrifices necessary to get to bed at a time that would guarantee I’d wake up refreshed the next morning. So far, so good.
So my resolution this year, which I aim to keep – Make No More New Year’s Resolutions.
