Antigonish Bulldogs win second straight Don Johnson Cup

The Antigonish Bulldogs are Don Johnson Cup champions again.

They beat the Kensington Vipers 3-2 Sunday to repeat as winners in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland.

The Bulldogs were trailing 2-1 after two periods.

But Venel Campbell would tie it five minutes into the third, then Ethan Twolan had the go-ahead goal over halfway through the final frame.

Antigonish outshot the Vipers 44-25.

They were playing in the tournament for the third straight year as Nova Scotia Junior B champions.
