Arbitration hearings between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers have finally wrapped up.
They started after a series of rotating strikes in the fall of 2018 to back demands for a new contract before back-to-work legislation returned postal workers to their jobs.
The union says lengthy written arguments were presented over a week ago with final oral arguments given last Wednesday.
A final decision is expected to be made next month.
Postal workers’ last contract expired in January 2018.
