This week we recognize 13 year old Amber Nickerson of the Shelburne County Skating Club!
Amber skates twice a week from October to March.
When the skating season ends, she joins other clubs to keep practicing.
Amber is very dedicated and has a very strong love for figure skating.
Amber also is a PA which means she goes on the ice with the CanSkaters and helps teach them the skills they need to move up levels.
Way to go, Amber! As CKBW’s Athlete of the Week, she won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater!
