Barrington Man Arrested For Making Fake COVID-19 Proof Of Vaccination Cards

A Barrington man has been arrested for making fake COVID-19 proof of vaccination cards.

The RCMP say on November 15 they received a complaint of suspected fake proof of vaccination cards being made in Barrington by a 50-year-old local man.

Police investigated and executed a search warrant at a home in Barrington on December 10 and arrested the man without incident.

They seized items related to manufacturing and forging COVID-19 proof of vaccination, along with electronic devices.

The man arrested is facing charges of Forgery and Using a Forged Document. The RCMP say he will appear in Shelburne Provincial Court at a late date.
