Bay Ferries is out with another update about the CAT ferry’s activity.
They say as of June 30th tickets have been sold for 20,468 passengers for the Yarmouth to Bar Harbor, Maine, ferry service.
As of June 30th a total of 26 round trips were made with two weather cancellations. Bay Ferries says the CAT has so far carried a total of 5,569 passengers and 2,468 vehicles.
Bay Ferries believes that over 65% of the CAT’s total volume will be carried during July and August.
They say historical sales after July first suggest annual traffic of 39,000 to 46,000 passengers.
