The South Shore Exhibition gets underway today. Traditionally this is the week when friends and family who have moved away come back for a visit.
Last week my brother and his family, my niece and her family were visiting. Next week my son and his family will spend their vacation here on the South Shore.
It makes a lot of sense to come home during Exhibition week. You’re more likely to run into people from your past who have moved away to the city or other provinces this week.
