Boat stolen from former Lunenburg Mayor

A boat was stolen from a property in First South, just outside Lunenburg, overnight on October 15.

The owner, Rachel Bailey, a former mayor of Lunenburg and current council candidate, discovered the theft when her husband found the shelter empty, with the front end ripped open.

Bailey has requested that anyone who sees the boat or has information about the theft contact her or the police.

Photos of the stolen boat have been circulated on social media to help locate it.

The boat is a white Doral speed boat, with Ibiza 220cc written on it’s sides.

Anyone with information should contact the Lunenburg RCMP detachment or Nova Scotia Crimestoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
