A three-year-old boy is dead after he was hit by a car when crossing the street in Bedford.
Halifax police say it happened around 7:50 p.m., Friday, on Brownstone Way.
He was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police say they extend heartfelt condolences to the boy’s family and thank the witnesses and bystanders who stayed on scene through the evening.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been laid at this time.
