In Bridgewater, police are seeking witnesses after responding to a 911 call reporting an injured adult male on Atlantic Street around 8:50 p.m. on January 3.
Bridgewater police along with other first reponders, , assisted the victim, who had serious midsection injuries.
After initial treatment by EHS, he was transported to South Shore Regional Hospital for emergency surgery.
The Criminal Investigative Division is actively investigating the circumstances, urging anyone with relevant information to contact Bridgewater Police or Crimestoppers.
There is currently no identified threat to the community.
