BREAKING: PEI And NFLD Backing Out Of Atlantic Bubble

It looks like the Atlantic Bubble has burst for the time being.

During an unplanned press conference this morning, PEI Premier Dennis King announced the island is temporarily backing out of the Atlantic Bubble.

He says they are suspending all non essential travel in and out of the province for at least the next 2 weeks.

This comes into effect at midnight tonight.

The premier calls this a temporary break, and will re-evaluate on December 7th.

Meanwhile Newfoundland and Labrador has also tightened travel restrictions.

Premier Andrew Furey says anyone traveling into the province will have to self isolate for 14 day upon arrival.

This change becomes effective on Wednesday.
