BREAKING: RCMP Search For Suspects After Two Home Invasions in Lunenburg County

RCMP say they are searching for suspects involved in two home invasions in Lunenburg County.

Mounties responded to the first incident at 4:33 a.m.

Two men broke into a home on Natural Forest Lake Road in Upper Cornwall.

During the incident a shotgun was discharged by one of the suspects.

At 5:07 a.m., police were told there was a man at South Shore Regional Hospital who had been shot.

This was not the same victim from the earlier incident.

Police says the second case occurred in a home on Cornwall Rd., and a shotgun was discharged by one of the suspects resulting in an injury to the victim’s foot.

The injuries are not life threatening.

No arrests have been made.

RCMP have called in additional resources, including a police dog.

More information will be released when it is available.
