You’ll soon be able to drive faster on the MacKay bridge.
It will close from 7 p.m. on Friday until 5:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Bridge spokesperson Steven Proctor says it is to finish configuring the road after the toll booths were removed.
Workers will also remove cable inspection stations, and they will reopen the Princess Margaret Boulevard on and off ramps, which have been closed since late May.
The speed limit is 50 km/h through where the toll booth used to be, but after this weekend, it will jump up to 70 km/h.
