The Town of Bridgewater is expanding it’s green bin collection program to include weekly pickups within town limits.
In a Facebook post the Lunenburg Regional Community Recyling Centre announced the first collection begins Saturday, June 27th due to Canada Day pick up being re-scheduled.
The weekly collection will take place until September 30th.
The Lunenburg Regional Community Recyling Centre also handles waste collection for Mahone Bay and other surrounding areas but there was no mention of expanded green bin collections for those communities.
