Some of the top male and female swimmers are in Bridgewater.
The Bridgewater Barracudas and Swim Nova Scotia are co-hosting the Summer Swimming Provincial Championships at the O’Regan’s Subaru Outdoor Pool.
The three day competition begins this afternoon at 1 p.m.
Approximately 500 swimmers from across Nova Scotia are participating.
The hometown Barracudas are looking to win their ninth straight provincial team title.
The competition marks the final meet for the summer swim season.
