The Bridgewater Bulldogs under-11 baseball club took home silver medals in the tier 2 provincial championships. The Bulldogs were the tournament hosts and lost in the 7th inning after a walk-off hit. Teams from Prospect, Halifax, Hantsport, New Glasgow and Stellarton participated.
Bridgewater’s Isaac Haines and Yarmouth’s Blake Newell helped Nova Scotia’s under-13 baseball team finish 7th at nationals. Jack Laws of Mahone Bay was part of Nova Scotia’s under-15 team that finished ninth at the Canadian Championships.
