Bridgewater community pantry seeking new location

The community pantry run by the Bridgewater & Area Lions Club is seeking a new location to operate at, after they were asked to relocate their existing location at Souls Harbour Rescue.

For the past 18 months, the pantry which is located on the front lawn of Souls Harbour Bridgewater has been stocked with food and other household items, which could then be picked up by anyone in need.

In a post on social media from the Lions Club, they explained that throughout their time at Souls Harbour, the program had been successful, with regular usage from patrons, who were respectful when visiting.

They did not provide further details on why they are moving but thanked Souls Harbour for hosting their panty, and their support throughout its operation.

The pantry at Souls Harbour is scheduled to be removed on or before April 13.

The Lions Club is now actively seeking a new location within Bridgewater to host their pantry.
