A 40-year-old Bridgewater Police Officer has been charged with two counts of fraud.
The province’s police watchdog, SiRT, began an investigation into Constable Troy Vanderlinden after receiving information from the Bridgewater Police Service on March 9.
The charges from the seven-month investigation came down Thursday.
Constable Vanderlinden is set to appear in Bridgewater Provincial Court November 24.
