Bridgewater Developer Purchasing Former Nauss Brothers Buildings

Long-time vacant properties in Bridgewater are in the process of being sold.

Developer Bob Richards has agreed to buy the old Nauss Brothers buildings at 388 to 356 King Street.

The owner of JayLynn Enterprises Limited says he doesn’t have a definitive plan yet, but expects them to be a mix of residential and commercial properties.

“We’ve had some interest from other people regarding restaurants and the waterfront. It has some 200 feet of waterfront there, so it has real potential from that point of view.”

Richards says it was the approximate 215 feet of waterfront space that peaked his interest in the property.

The deal is expected to close at the end of the month.

Richards expects some construction and demolition to begin, once that happens.
