Bridgewater Police Seize Four Firearms Following Arrest

The Bridgewater Police Service received calls this morning reporting that a man was uttering threats near a business on LaHave Street.

Police eventually located a 51-year old man who matched the description and arrested him.

The 51-year old man now faces one charge of uttering threats, however in the subsequent investigation BPS located four firearms which they then seized.

We reached out to BPS for more information on the incident but our calls were not immediately returned.

In the associated media release BPS say the investigation is still ongoing and more charges are possible.
