Bridgewater teen charged for threating school in Ontario

A 14-year-old from Bridgewater has been charged with multiple offences linked to threats made against St. Michael Catholic High School in Kemptville, Ontario. Between September and October, these threats prompted several school closures to ensure the safety of students and staff.
The youth was arrested following police searches conducted at his home and school, during which several electronic devices were seized.
He faces charges that include making threats, indecent communications, and public mischief.
As a minor, no identifying details will be released as the court proceedings unfold. The accused remains in custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in court next week. Authorities are continuing their investigation into any potential connections to similar incidents in the region.
