Bridgewater’s Luke Woodworth Named Assistant Captain for Volts

Bridgewater native Luke Woodworth has been named as an assistant captain for the Drummondville Voltigeurs for this year’s QMJHL season.

In Woodworth’s first two seasons with the team he racked up 70 points in the 102 regular season games he’s laced up for. This season he’s also started well racking up three points in the Volt’s first four games in which they went 2-2.

He is currently tied with teammate Tristan Roy as the Volt’s points leader.

The last time Woodworth suited up with a letter was when he captained the South Shore Lumberjacks in the 2018-19 season.

The Volt’s are back in action this Friday, then next weekend Woodworth will return to Nova Scotia as they take on the Halifax Mooseheads.
