You’ll soon be able to have a fire in most areas of Nova Scotia.
Burning is allowed after 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to the province’s BurnSafe map.
It’s permitted in all counties except Annapolis, Kings and Guysborough.
Meanwhile, Annapolis also had their woods ban lifted, roughly two months after the start of the Long Lake wildfire.
In a release, Natural Resources minister Tory Rushton says although it’s still very dry, cooler temperatures are reducing wildfire risk.
Wildfire season was extended until October 31 because of fire activity.
