Burn ban lifted in Nova Scotia

Looks like you’ll be able to roast marshmallows again.

The province lifted the burn ban and all remaining restrictions on activities in the woods.

With the Barrington Lake wildfire under control, Natural Resources Minister Tory Rushton says they’re comfortable with the move.

However, the $25,000 fine remains for burning when not allowed.

He advises people to check the burn-safe map online.

Today, you’re not allowed to burn until after 7 p.m.
