The municipality of Shelburne is seeking council nominations for a by-election coming in April.
The by-election covers Shelburne’s District 6, which includes West Green Harbour, East Green Harbour, and West Head, and aims to fill the vacant council seat left by the departure of deputy warden David Levy.
The municipality says nominations will be taken on March 10th, and polling day will follow on April 4th with advance polling days set in the event of there being more than one candidate.
They say nominations can be filed at the municipal offices on Hammond Street in Shelburne.
