Canada to face Sweden for 1st place at U18 Women’s World Hockey Championship

Canada is looking to finish first in their group in Cape Breton.

The U18 Women’s World Hockey Championships are on in Membertou.

Team Canada will get top spot with a win over Sweden at 5 p.m.

Two Nova Scotians are on Team Canada, Boylston’s Kendall Doiron and Clark’s Harbour’s Jaylee MacKinnon.

Playoff round games begin Thursday at Centre 200 in Sydney.
