RCMP say the search for a 19-year-old man has ended after a violent home invasion in New Glasgow.
A Canada wide arrest warrant had been issued for William Michael Gilmore, also known as Liam.
He was arrested at a home in Brampton, Ontario, Sunday night.
New Glasgow Regional Police say the suspect entered a residence Thursday afternoon and waited for the two victims to arrive.
The suspect then assaulted the victims with a weapon and stole a vehicle.
The victims, a man and a woman suffered serious injuries.
The investigation continues.
