There’s nothing that gives me a warmer nostalgic feeling than rediscovering a candy from my childhood.
It usually happens around Christmas, but occasionally while on vacation I’ll discover one of those candy stores that makes a point of stocking candy I haven’t seen or thought of in years.
While I doubt anyone sells black licorice pipes or Popeye candy cigarettes because of the law, there’s still plenty of legal candy out there.
Who remembers green leaves,, Kraft soft carmels, marshmallow bananas
candy necklaces, ring pops, lick and dips, Sour keys,Soda-licious, Jolly Rancher, Pixie Stix!
jawbreakers, gummy frogs, Astros and milk bottles?
I think my favourite old time candy were Icy Cups which I can still buy.
