There has been an extremely rare and apparent shark attack in Nova Scotia.
RCMP say a 22-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital in Halifax.
There has been no further update on her condition.
The call came in around 5 p.m. on Friday evening.
Reports suggest a fin was spotted in the water near where the attack took place.
The attack occurred near Margaree Island.
