As of Tomorrow, April 1, the Carbon Tax will be removed from gas and diesel. The Carbon Tax adds approximately 17.6 cents/liter.
(the HST will also drop tomorrow in Nova Scotia, down to %14)
A drop of almost 18 cents in the price of a liter of gas is not a bad thing certainly, but prices in 2025 have been trending upward so far:
